The farmhouse/villa is accessed through a private drive shared with one other property. There is ample parking space with shade, to keep out the renowned hot Maltese sun. In fact, it is this hot Maltese sun that has inspired a very particular style of architecture in Malta and Gozo. Meter thick walls and overhanging trees are typical features of traditional farmhouse/villa - both characteristics which help keep the heat of the summer out and the cool in. In fact the entire property is surrounded by mature trees many of which are indigenous to Malta and which offer many shaded places to really make the most of a self-catering holiday.

There are patios on either side of the property for BBQ's and the like, ideal for self catering accommodation holidays in Malta. The patio at the back leads on to an award winning pool area with its beautiful cactus garden. The layout of the out door areas is designed in a way that makes it ideal for self catering accommodation - whether this be a small family or large group. With the pool area in particular split into several sections, each with its own charm and individualism. At the same time there are several areas at the front of the house in which to escape, including a hammock strung in the shade of fully grown eucalyptus trees. Ideal to drift into sleep after a Mediterranean pool side style BBQ lunch.

The farmhouse/villa is situated on the edge of the Maltese town of San Gwann, adjoining it on one side and open country on the other. San Gwann is located in the centre of Malta, which is the largest island of the Maltese archipelago. This self catering accommodation is situated within a 5 minute walk of a fish monger, butcher and green grocer. And even though it is on the edge of a town, its architectural design and mature garden/trees give it almost complete isolation and total privacy. The Maltese fishing village of St Julian’s is a mere 15 minute drive. St Julian’s is without a doubt one of the prettiest fishing villages in Malta. It is also conveniently the restaurant hub of Malta. Adjoining St Julian’s is Sliema which along with Valetta form the shopping centers of Malta and Gozo. And access to the amazing Neolithic temples or the sandy beaches of the North is simple, as you are truly situated at the heart of Malta.

So, regardless of whether you want to self cater under balmy Mediterranean star filled evenings, around the pool sipping on wine or eat out.......you truly cant position yourself better for a holiday full of relaxation in splendid, isolated, self-catering accommodation.
